Autograph letter signed from Marcel Schwob, Paris, to unidentified recipient, 1902 November 22.

Addressed "mon cher ami." Schwob asks the recipient to tell Courtney that he accepts the task of writing an article for the Fortnightly review. He states that it will be entitled "Pictures from Francis Villon" in the manner of Tales from Shakespeare, in which he intends to describe episodes in the life of Villon that relate to the subject matter of his poetry. He intends to write directly in English.
